ChemStik: Precision in Action

The ChemStik is a purpose-built device designed to support law enforcement and military personnel in the controlled deployment of chemical agents during civil disorder incidents. Unlike traditional methods that rely on indiscriminate dispersal and environmental factors such as wind, the ChemStik enables operators to direct chemical agents precisely toward an intended area. This controlled deployment reduces the risk of unintended exposure, agent redirection by demonstrators, and ineffective dispersal. As many law enforcement agencies face increasing restrictions, injunctions, and litigation related to the excessive or indiscriminate use of chemical agents, the ChemStik provides a solution that emphasizes precision, accountability, and operational restraint. By enabling targeted application, the ChemStik can significantly reduce the overall volume of chemical agents required to achieve compliance objectives.

To use the Chemstik, the operator simply locks open the spring bolt, places a cannister in the cage, engages the locking bolt to ensure the cannister won’t fall out, and pulls the cannister fuze pin. Once the cannister gases are dispersed, the operator can empty the cannister from the cage by locking the spring bolt and emptying the cannister from the cage.
